The Original & M-Pact CR5 with Armortex® Cut Resistance
With the average total incurred cost of $30,336 per laceration injury, it's important for safety managers to identify cut hazards in the workplace and implement the appropriate protection for the task at hand. Mechanix Wear CR5 protection delivers CE level 5 cut resistance to working hands in industries where sharp tools and sharp materials are present. Many cut injuries occur when the wrong type of glove is being used and in most cases, no protection at all. The CR5 Series is a new line of gloves from Mechanix Wear featuring Armortex® Cut material technology.
Armortex® Cut is designed to deliver functional cut resistance to the palm and fingers without sacrificing fit, feel and overall dexterity. The hand protection industry is still full of poorly sewn cut resistant gloves that end up limiting dexterity, making simple tasks more cumbersome. Armortex® Cut is constructed with high-tenacity fibers of Kevlar® and Dyneema® to create functional cut-resistant gloves that are comfortable and protective without compromising tactile control.
The Original CR5 features a microfiber palm with an internal layer of Armortex® Cut, delivering CE level 5 cut resistance to the palm and fingers. Fluorescent, ANSI-107 compliant TrekDry® form-fits the hand and provides a cool, comfortable fit in warm environments. Top it off with a secure Thermoplastic Rubber wrist closure and you have a critical cut resistant tool.

The M-Pact CR5 features a microfiber palm with an internal layer of Armortex® Cut, delivering CE level 5 cut resistance to the palm and fingers. Sonic welded Thermoplastic Rubber provides impact resistance to the back of the hand from the knuckles to the tip of each finger to reduce crushing and pinching injuries. XRD® cushioning in the palm reduces impact and vibration from hand tools for relief day in and day out. Visible hands are safe hands so we incorporated fluorescent, ANSI-107 compliant materials to improve visual awareness in the workplace.
